Together We Dance

Parenting or caring for an autistic child comes with its own rhythm - sometimes steady, sometimes unpredictable. That rhythm can be beautiful, but it can also be exhausting. That’s why we’re so excited to launch Together We Dance, a free weekly dance project in Belfast designed just for parents and caregivers of all genders raising or supporting an autistic child.

A Space Made for You
This isn’t your typical dance class. Here, dance is more than steps — it’s a way to reconnect with yourself and with others who truly understand the joys and challenges of your journey. You don’t need dance experience, special shoes, or a partner — just a willingness to show up.

Two Classes, Two Ways to Feel Better

6–7 pm: Shake It Off – A post-work, feel-good class to release tension and shake off the day.

7–8pm: Move & Unwind – A slower, more relaxed session, perfect for when the kids are settled and you’re ready for some “you time.”

Why Dance?
Dance can help reduce stress, boost mood, and improve physical and emotional wellbeing. But perhaps the most important benefit is the community it builds - a chance to share space with others who “get it” without the need to explain.
